In order to strengthen our Service team of Shimano Europe Fishing Holding B.V. (Nunspeet), we would like to get in contact with candidates for the position of:
ASSISTANT WARRANTY & REPAIRS
FISHING TACKLE DIVISION
(20 HRS P/WK)
The job
In this position you are responsible for handling goods that are sent in by dealers for warranty or repair and you are responsible for providing technical support, as well internal as external.
Your job includes among others the following activities:
• Responsible for timely judgement, registration and handling of warranty claims and/or repair of defaults;
• In consultation draw up warranty related procedures and take care of communication of these procedures to all people involved;
• Handle questions and/or complaints of consumers regarding technical issues;
• Supply colleagues and customers with technical product information;
• Follow-up sales supporting activities regarding service related items;
• Assist on shows and other events if necessary;
• Report on a monthly basis regarding warranties and repairs.
Requirements
• A secondary vocational education (MBO) and at least 3 years of experience in a technical-service oriented job;
• Proven affinity with the fishing tackle industry;
• You have the ability to make the customer feel himself to be heard and understood.
• You quickly identify problems by asking concrete questions and using the right sources; you see relationships between problems and look for causes;
• You know how to inform and convey customers about decisions in a clear and calm way;
• You are able to present (complex) technical information to others in a clear and concrete way.
• Knowledge of or experience with quality systems (CRM, ISO) is considered a plus.
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, as well verbally as in writing. Knowledge of the German language is considered a plus;
• Knowledge of Word and Excel.
This position regards an annual seasonable job for the period April – October, for approximately
16-20 hrs p/wk. At the moment we are looking for a candidate who can start on a short term for 20 hrs p/wk (preferably 4 hrs p/day) until October 2010.
Also retirees are invited to respond.
